Mediterrana offer Advanced course in Sailing school as next level of Sailing school courses after beginner's course or 7-days cruise in Central Adriatic sea and Kornati islands. Advanced course in Sailing school take place in Jezera in Murter island and Kornati islands and Central Adriatic sea in Croatia.
Advanced course bring you new skills and experiences with several days cruising in Kornati islands, day and night navigation, anchoring, prepare boat for several day cruise,... During Advance course you get knowledge and skills necessary for safe sailing in different weather conditions.
When you have finished our beginner's course or 7-days cruise, or you have
acquired the sailing basics in some other school or from friends, you are invited to our advanced course to push your knowledge and skills further.
We will teach you how to sail using spinnaker, how
to sail and navigate by night, among islands and rocks, with the help
of lighthouse if there is one.
Furthermore we will teach you how to
launch the boat or how to approach the coast if the engine does not
function, how to save a crew member if they fall overboard, etc.
Those who need to refresh their basic knowledge will have the
opportunity to do so. You will learn how to organize several-days stay
on board, all about the "traps" of anchoring, cooking and sleeping
aboard, and all the rest which is called sailing and life at sea.
You
will also try to catch a fish, and maybe for some it will be first one
in life.
Advanced course students, after they meet on Saturday have lunch
together and then their knowledge is being evaluated. Afterwards they
refresh knowledge and prepare the sailing boat for a several-days stay aboard.
On Tuesday in the
morning you set off for Kornati Islands.
The course takes place in
those beautiful waters where you sail, acquire knowledge, discouver new skills and practice of all
elements of the programme.
Your return to the base in ACI marina Jezera is planned for the
following Friday afternoon.
At the arrival back to Jezera the you
have dinner together with the participants of other courses, followed
by putting the boat in order, ...
Once you have successfully acquired the skills and knowledge offered in
the advanced course you might start to consider sailing on your own.
Your knowledge is sufficient, it is up to you to make the decision.
Choose your crew, maybe some friends you have met during the sailing
course, rent a boat over the weekend, check the weather forecast, and
if it is OK - sail out.
Make sure to take your waterproof jacket with you, regardless of the
season, a sailing knife, sleeping bag and ear plugs - the number of
snorers is constantly increasing!

Price include:
Course lead by instructors, fuel, end cleaning of sailing boat and VAT.

Extras:
15 EUR / Person daily for Half Board
Food, food for instructors, marina expenses for berths outside ACI marina Jezera,
1 EUR / Person daily for Tourist tax
* Food is paied at arrival if not order Half Board in Aparthotel SAY.
Indicated extras are from 150 EUR / Person to 200 EUR / Person, during course. In indicated extras are included accommodation, food and tourist tax.
Payment terms:
30 % at reservation and 70 % at the latest 3 weeks before arrival.
