Sailing as a crew member is one thing. Saling as a skipper is something
completely different. And you will see the difference once you take the
role of a skipper.
The feeling of responsibility and a completely new
respect for the sea and wind will never leave you, and yet this first
time is still something special. If you wish to prepare yourself for this hard and responsible role we recommend you our skipper course.
You can join if you have learned the
basics of sailing, navigation, handling a spinnaker... If not, the
instructor can ask you to go back to some of our less advanced courses.
And it will not be to discourage you from becoming a skipper, but to
give you the opportunity to fill in the "gaps" and then continue with
new skills and experiences.
You surely ask yourself what can I learn during a skipper course.
None of us sails so well that they could not sail better, therefore you
will sail and perfect your technique passing miles and miles of the sea
... Tack, reef, tack, reef and back to the beginning ...
Lots of time will also be dedicated to practice approaching the shore
using the engine or only sails, approaching the shore if the wind is
strong, refloating the boat, than you will be thaught what to do to be
prepared for the oncoming storm, how to sail during a storm ...
You will lean what you should check when renting (charter) a sailing boat, get
"acquainted" with the wiring, engine, most frequent problems and how to
address them, as well as with safety equipment and how to handle it.
That's a different story: people who
do not even know one another sail together and live together in a very
small space.
Some snore, some cannot sleep, others do not want to touch
meat, there are those who do not eat leek and do not want to sleep with
someone else in the same bed ...
Skipper is the one who has to keep everything under control. After this
course the decision will be easier to make: do you really need all this
or you prefer to remain "just" a crew member?
The decision is yours after all, but it would be a shame not to try!

Price include:
Course lead by instructors, fuel, end cleaning of sailing boat and VAT.
Prices are valid for courses on sailing boats ELAN 333 or ELAN 45.
For courses on sailing boat VAL 35 price is reduced for 100 EUR / Person.
Extras:
15 EUR / Person daily for Half Board in Aparthotel SAY - if book halboard at course booknig price is 13,50 EUR)
Food, food for instructors, marina expenses for berthy outside ACI marina Jezera,
1 EUR / Person daily for Tourist tax

Indicated extras are from 150 EUR / Person to 200 EUR / Person, during course. In
indicated extras are included accommodation, food and tourist tax.
Payment terms:
30 % at reservation and 70 % at the latest 3 weeks before arrival.
