Spinnaker is the biggest sail on sailing boat, or sailing yacht, and sailing with spinnaker is not such easy as it is look from ashore, even in perfect weather conditions. Just rise spinnaker, this grand sail, is a little science.
Spinnaker course offer You knowledge and skills necessary for pleasure and fast sailing with spinnaker and to reach top performances of sailing boat. Spinnaker is necessary part of equipment at regatta sailing where spinnaker and performance main sail is necessary for good position.
If you want to acquire the profound knowledge of sailing with
spinnaker as recreational sailor or learn how to use spinnaker in
regattas, this course is just made for you.
The accommodation is organised in our base in Jezera on Murter Island and the meals will be served in a restaurant.
The theoretical classes will take place in the morning, followed by sailing out to the Sea.
There is so much to do: raising the spinnaker sheltered from or exposed
to the wind, making circles with spinnaker on light wind or strong one,
taking down the spinnaker behind the front sail or in front of it and so
on.
Furthermore you will learn what to do if the spinnaker gets tangled and
how to solve this "as-bonbon-wrapped-problem", how to raise and take
down the spinnaker at buoy turn, how and when to do a jibe set?
After a week of training using spinnaker will no longer present a taboo. It will become a pleasure.

17:00 returning to the marine and tiding up the ship
